Alaska Airlines Recently Announced New Flights to Hawaii

Alaska Airlines is going to start 7 days a week nonstop flights to Lihue on the island of Kauai and Kona on the big island of Hawaii from Mineta San Jose International Airport; the service will be extended to 21 flights a week to the islands. The daily new Flights to Hawaii will begin on March 12, 2012.
In the initial three months of these new flights, Alaska Airlines will provide a one way fare of $179 from San Jose, as well as Oakland International airport, to Lihue, Kona and the airport at Kahului on Maui Island. Tickets must be availed by September 3 for travelling from March 12 to June 9, 2012; discounts will be available on these new flights.
Alaska airlines previously offered 3 flights a week between San Jose and Lihue whereas four flights a week between San Jose and Kona.
