Budget Travel to Taipei With Cheap Flights

The city of Taipei, Taiwan is offering budget travel packages aimed at attracting more tourists from the Chinese territory of Hong Kong. The packages include coupons from 88 shops, which they hope will generate an additional NT$210 million in revenues from tourism in the next year.
The Taipei City Department of Information and Tourism is working with China Airlines to offer Hong Kong tourists budget tour packages starting at NT$9,000. These packages include round-trip cheap flights and airfare to Taipei, a two-night stay at a local hotel and a welcome gift that has been selected by the department . The current proposal is to offer 11,000 gift sets that contain vouchers from 12 stores, including the Eslite Bookstore and the Taipei 101 Mall's observatory deck, coupons for up to 30% off from 88 local restaurants and stores, and a one-day EasyCard pass.
